About this deal

They were unique in many ways but similar in many ways as well, especially since the ladies are all friends. The number one thing I hate in romance novels is the miscommunication trope which happens EVERY SINGLE TIME in Hazelwood's books. Hannah is quite feisty and less conventional than her friends, which was refreshing but it took some more time to understand her character. More of a metacommentary on the epistemological themes that arise in each episode and-my blog has plenty of readers! To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

Abgesehen von der ganzen STEM-Thematik, wofür allein ich Ali Hazelwood und ihre Bücher schon liebe, haben wir hier auch wieder viel Enemies-to-Lovers-Trope. I have been kind of obsessed with "The Love Hypothesis" for what I believe is good reason, and I have been able to find joy in the Ali-verse ever since, even in the works I was less thrilled with by the end.I would have liked to have seen it mixed up a little (although Hazelwood notes that the stories originated from fan fiction, so maybe this is a remnant? After reading some reviews for "the love hypothesis", it's become clear that apparently this is Hazelwood's whole shtick: tiny fragile women who are intellectually smart but emotionally absolutely incompetent, fall for big, fit, brooding men with big arms and big dicks.

Just a well-kept lawn with the occasional landscaped corner, a handful of trees I don't recognize, and a large wooden patio furnished with comfortable-looking pieces. BIG hands and BIG shoulders, but there’s not much else going on other than the fact they’re all gorgeous (which I’m not complaining about 🥵). Diversity among protagonists - She has included diverse characters in supporting roles, and there is some demisexual and bisexual representation in her main romances, which is pretty good (there is also an argument that Liam from "Under One Roof" is neurodivergent, but that is speculation more than anything, which I don't think counts) . I start feeling nervous the moment I exit the car, and it gets worse the farther I drag my suitcase up the path-a heavy ball of anxiety slowly nestling behind my sternum. I feel this would alleviate some of the angst that some of her readers (including myself) are starting to feel as they navigate the love/sex scenes in her work. Liam Harding and I will have a nice, calm chat and figure out the best possible solution that is satisfactory to . These are all based on the same romance trope (enemies to lovers) so do be aware if you like to mix things up.

An environmental engineer discovers that scientists should never cohabitate when she finds herself stuck with the roommate from hell―a detestable big-oil lawyer who won’t leave the thermostat alone. An environmental engineer discovers that scientists should never cohabitate when she finds herself stuck with the roommate from hell - a detestable big-oil lawyer who won't leave the thermostat alone. When a fake relationship between scientists meets the irresistible force of attraction, it throws one woman's carefully calculated theories on love into chaos. Helena's gift was as generous as it was unexpected, easily the kindest thing anyone has ever done for me. From the New York Times bestselling author of The Love Hypothesis comes a collection of steamy, STEMinist novellas featuring a trio of engineers and their loves in loathing―with a special bonus chapter!

It's a perfectly respectable niche to fill, and so long as the variety is still there in spite of the STEM basis, it will be fine if she stays in that space.

Three irresistible short stories by the global phenomenon Ali Hazelwood, now available together in paperback for the first time, with an exclusive bonus chapter.
